1) Both black and white dots between two cells must be consecutive such as 2 & 3 or 7 & 8.

Kropki Sudoku is a white dot puzzle with a Kropki dot in the cell.
A white dot indicates two cells between which at least one digit of these values must be different, i.e., every number above 1 has to be different between neighboring grid blocks.
Not all puzzles will have white dots, and some may contain black dots instead (see Rule 3 below).
